Congratulations to the girls and boys cross country teams for their strong showing in the state meet yesterday.  Desriee Boyett and Hannah Juneau paced the girls to a 13th place finish.  The boys were led by Landon Spears who finished 8th overall, first from all public schools.  The boys finished  a very respectable 11th overall.  

Junior Civitans: Just a reminder that we will have a brief meeting today, Wednesday, November 16th at 3:15 in Mrs. Beach's room (6206). If you cannot make it, please stop by today or tomorrow to get your club t-shirt. At the meeting, we will also discuss plans for our Christmas/school-based service event. 

Any student who is interested in taking a spring dual enrollment class and who is not currently taking a dual enrollment class through ULM needs to see Mrs. Hunt about an application. Anyone currently taking a DE class through ULM does not need to fill out another application for the spring semester. Only elective courses are available second semester. The deadline for this application is Wednesday, December 14.

The Chick Fil A Leader Academy wants to bless the students and families of Lenwil Elementary this holiday season by hosting a Hygiene Supply drive. They are asking you, the students of WMHS to help by donating various hygiene items such as Bars of soap, Kid-friendly shampoo, deodorant, brushes or combs, and socks or underwear for children sizes 4-18. Please drop off any items to Mr. Valentine's room in room 1201. Don't miss this opportunity to serve our local community.
